Kirsten Alexander has been a writer, copywriter and editor for many years. In addition to novels, she has written for the Age, Notebook magazine, G Magazine, and for Radio National’s Bookshow. As a copywriter, she has produced work for Aesop, Crumpler, Goodies Food Group and more.  

She has edited fiction, nonfiction and memoir for companies including Text Publishing, Reed Books, Random House and Penguin, as well as tutoring and editing for the Faber Writing Academy.  

She also worked in content roles for Ninemsn and Virtual Communities as well as several start-ups. She independently created the three-volume digital journal Open Field, which raised funds for CARE Australia.

Regardless of the medium, she is a firm believer in the power of words to change lives.

Open Field

Open Field is a three-volume digital journal. It was available for iPad but newer versions can’t display it. Content came from women, proceeds went to the charity CARE to help women in disadvantaged communities.
